FREDDIES BAR
Building dates from the mid 1890's and as The Great Northern Refreshment House originally provided refreshments (along with beer) to the Great Northern Railway workers (the goods yard for the Great Northern Railway being opposite). Over a period of time it became known as The Refreshment House. Re-named Freddies Bar about 1993, (after Freddie Mercury).
