(M249) Dust pressed, 6 x 6 in, block printed under glaze, a standard Boote reverse but with "Micklethwaite" printed in the centre panel, T & R Boote, c.1890. Micklethwaite could either be a pattern name or a firm to whom Boote supplied tiles. The pattern also occurs on blanks from Mintons China Works, Minton Hollins and others. |
