Top shows the patern number and the initials P&P. The decorators Pryke and Palmer are listed on page 60, "Collecting Victorian Tiles" by Terry Lockett ISBN 0 902028 82 0.
Bottom shows detail of a curious mark wich appears on all four tile edges, in the same position. They are either a print alignment registration or a printer's rebus.
