The term Art-Deco is derived from the 1925 exhibition in Paris entitled "Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes". The style being mainly geometric, simplified designs often executed in matt or eggshell finish glaze.

Deco Viking ship tile

T&R Boote are not well known for 'moulded picture' tiles, but this pleasant example shows how well they were able to make such tiles.
